Must-have eyeshadow Palettes

When I was taking the photos for this blog post, I genuinely could not get over how gorgeous these three palettes looked side-by-side. There are so many beautiful neutral palettes available now-a-days, its amazing I was able to narrow down my favourites to only three. There are usually a shade or two that you never use when you buy big palettes - but not with these. I genuinely use every single shadow. So now that Ive gone on and on about how aesthetically pleasing these pallets are, lets do a comparison.

Urban Decay Naked Palette
This was the first eyeshadow palette I ever bought. I was just getting into makeup and my friend told me that I HAD to pick it up. So I did, and boy am I glad. First of all, the 12 shadows in this palette are very versatile. There are some mattes, satins, and shimmers. This palette is warmed toned, but still neutral enough that any skin tone can use it. Compared to all my palettes, the urban decay shadows are the most blendable without having any fallout (most of the time).

Lorac PRO Palette
This may be one the most talked about products in the online beauty community. The Lorac Pro Palette has 16 amazing shades. I love the layout of this palette - the top row is matte and the bottom is shimmer. I know it seems silly, but it actually makes using the palette easier to use. My favourite part about the palette is that half of the shadows are matte and that is very rare. Although this palette has my favourite colour scheme, I wish they were a bit more blendable. I find they can sometimes look a little patchy on the lids and I always seem to have a little bit of fallout. But overall, I think this palette really does live up to the well deserved hype.

The Balm Nude'Tude Palette
Eyeshadow Palettes can be pricey because basically all of them are from high-end brands. When I walked into my local drugstore and saw that they were now selling the Balm I kind of freaked out. I grabbed the Nude'Tude palette because I had heard so many good things about it. These don't feel like drugstore shadows at all. They are pigmented, blendable, and don't have fall out. I don't like the shades as much as the other two palettes, but you definitely get a good bang for your buck with this one. If your just getting into makeup or already own a ton of palettes, you should check this palette out!
