Get the Glow

Whether its summer or winter, I love dewy, glowy, radiant skin. However, I don't want to look like a disco ball - it really is a fine line. Highlighting has been all the rage recently. But instead of just putting on one super shimmery powder, I like to layer 4 subtle products that combined give me a beautiful "lit from within" glow. Ok, maybe a bit more intense but it looks beautiful, I promise!

To prime and hydrate my skin I use the Illamasqua Hydra Veil. This primer hydrates your skin and leaves it slightly tacky so the rest of the products will stick to it. Hydrating my skin gives it that extra dewy look that I'm going for.

Next, Ill put the No7 Skin Illuminator in Pink all over my face. This product has tiny bits of shimmer in it which just leaves your skin looking completely radiant. Whats amazing is you somehow cannot see the shimmer on your skin - it just leaves a beautiful sheen. After this I'll add a light coverage foundation like my Eve Lom Tinted Moisturizer or my Revlon Nearly Naked.

Before I set my T-zone with a sheer powder, I'll add a little bit of Illamasqua Gleam in Aurora onto the high points of my face. With my finger I'll pat it on the tops of my cheekbones, above the arch of my brow, down my nose, and on my cupids bow.

To set that cream highlighter and add a little more glow, I'll add a bit of the highlights from the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow duo. It's a beautiful champagne gold that is glowy, but not overly shimmery. What I love about all of these products is that none of the are over the top. They look absolutely stunning individually, and when used together.
