I was pretty happy when I turned the corner at my local drugstore and saw a huge display of Joe Fresh beauty products. I am a huge fan of their clothing and have actually walked in their show during Toronto Fashion Week. I had yet to hear anything about their products, so I decided to buy a couple products to see if they were any good. First of all, their packaging and range is amazing for a brand that is quite new. They have primers, foundations, tinted moisturizes, two kinds of concealers, powders, creams - everything! A great variation for all skin types. The prices are reasonable as well.
The first product I picked up was their Long Wear Lip Liner in Nude. It comes with the liner on one side and a little lip brush on the other. Im not the biggest fan of the brush on the other side, but I guess if you don't already own a lip brush it might be nice to have. I love the colour of this liner - its my perfect MLBB nude shade. It claims to last 7 hours and while it is definitely long lasting, I don't know if I agree with that. It goes on super smoothly and blends into the lips really nicely. A great day-to-day liner to add a bit of definition.
I loved the concept of having a cream blush in a stick and you don't see many of those in the drugstore. So I bought the Cream Blush Stick in Buff ($10). Its a beautiful nude shade that looks like a nude pink in the stick, but it comes across a little bit warmer when actually applied to the cheeks. Its a nice light texture and blends our very easily.
Overall, I am very impressed by both the Joe Fresh products. They have beautiful colours and textures and are perfect for everyday natural makeup. I will definitely be checking out more of their products soon!
